Description

Twenty-two years in the fashion industry have seen Marcio head his own label in Brazil, style for entertainment heavyweights in the UK and abroad and climb the rungs of the luxury retail market.

An MA graduate from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Marcio’s fashion education was the basis for a career spent styling for revered fashion houses such as Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors and now Louis Vuitton.  Citing styling work with Browns’ own Joan Burstein as the highlight of his retail experience, Marcio assisted with the collection of emerging designers for the department store’s cutting edge brand offering, including Christopher Kane, Mario Schwab and Raf Simons.  All of which are now household names.

A background in luxury has never prevented forays into more accessible brands on the high-street, using a combination of both to create unique looks for his clients.  Marcio has no preferences when it comes to price point, gender, age or sector.  His list of varied and accomplished projects includes styling for Grammy and Academy Award winners, esteemed guests at the Queen’s 2012 Jubilee celebration, the Royal wedding in 2011, members of the extended Royal Family and Middle Eastern nobility.

Whether creating a look for an American TV personality or an academic, like clinical psychologist/writer and actress Pamela Stephenson or corporate clients from the Far East, Marcio applies his all-encompassing knowledge of industry trends and personal presentation to create an appropriate look befitting the client and the occasion. Extending this knowledge to sales staff throughout the UK, Scandinavia and Asia has been the next step in providing advice and training on seasonal trends, dress code, clothes and accessories styling and customer service
